Just as an aside, while PS2015 does uninstall PS2014 by default, you can use the custom install option to keep it. Yes - I had the same issue with my Nik plug-ins but they all worked well once copied across. When then opening Photoshop for the first time on this machine, all the plug-ins were already there. Instead of opening Photoshop when the update was finished, this time I went into Windows Explorer first and copied the plug-in files. I'm (definitely!!!) not an Apple person, but I can assume this will work in a similar fashion.Įdit: I just updated my second PC for CC 2015. I've tested 8 of the 13 plug-ins I have so far and they all work fine. In Windows Explorer, once you copy the shortcuts from the CC 2014 Plug-ins folder to the CC 2015 Plug-ins folder (make sure Photoshop IS NOT running when you do), the plug-ins will all be available on CC 2015 the next time you open it. While the upgrade to CC 2015 does uninstall CC 2014, it does leave the CC 2014 Plug-ins folder. If you are upgrading to Photoshop CC 2015 and also have Topaz Plug-ins, keep in mind that the Topaz (and other non-Adobe) plug-ins will not automatically transfer to the new software.
